Luvnith was born in Bengaluru, Karnataka, on January 15, 2000. His parents, Sujith and Sunitha Sisodia, raised him and were crucial in developing his athletic abilities. His mother urged him to be active from a young age, initially guiding him toward skating. Even though he didn't like it, his straightforward pursuit of athletics ultimately brought him to a neighboring cricket ground, and the rest is history.

The sportsman and his parents are still close. His mother, who has anxiety, has not yet been to a match in person, but she plans to do so when Rahul plays for India. Journey into Cricket

Luvnith's rise in cricket can be traced back to the age-group teams in Karnataka. He played for the state in the Under-14, U-19, U-23, and U-25 competitions before making his senior squad debut in the 2018–19 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

He produced strong performances in domestic competitions. Most notably, he led the Hubli Tigers win the 2019 Karnataka Premier League and captained Karnataka's U-23 team in the Col-CK Nayudu Trophy (2020). In a corporate one-day event in 2021, he demonstrated his power hitting ability by hitting 26 sixes and 312 runs off 129 balls.

Professional Contracts & IPL Breaks

Despite going unsold at first, Luvnith's big break came in 2022 when Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) signed him at his basic price of ₹20 lakh. His 2024 Maharaja Trophy performance, in which he scored over 1,000 runs and secured a Petr Rs7.2 lakh deal with Gulbarga Mystics, was another highlight following a spell with RCB and involvement in trophy-winning campaigns.

At ₹30 lakh, he was once more unsold in the 2024 IPL auction; but, in 2025, all changed. He was signed by the Kolkata Knight Riders this year for ₹30 lakh, solidifying his place in the team.
